Best Drama OST of 2015

Three years into blogging, this is the first time I do year end post. I have three different end of the year blog posts, and this is like the oldest among the triplet. This is my very own Best Drama OST of 2015 yay! Clap your hands! I had hard time in picking 10 songs out of hundreds OST released this year. Let me tell you, it was really hard. My list may differ from your list because this is really subjective. If your fav is on the list let me know by commenting at the comment section below! Or if your fav is not on the list but you think it should, leave your comment too! Definitely going to help others who happen to find this page and currently looking for OST recommendation. More

Yong Pal [review]

YONG PAL – REVIEW

Apparently Yong Pal is just like its predecessor, Mask, turning from an excellent drama into a mediocore makjang drama. There are people who are extremely disappointed with the writer and I am one of those. Ep 1-6 are pure perfection. Everything is good and moves in lighting speed with great explanation (forget the horrible editing on ep 4). The episodes are intense and keep you at the edge of your seat, biting your lower lips out of nervousness. I was already nervous the writer would run out of material to fill the rest episodes and my worry became reality way too fast. For ep 7 the writer played a bit in the most dense forest in Amazon and the writer got lost there for good. Around this time too, it was revealed that the drama  More

The Time I’ve Loved You [review]

THE TIME I’VE LOVED YOU [Review]

“You should never try to glue back shattered pots again. It’s going to crack in exact places you’ve glued together.” – Na Young (The Time We Were Not In Love)

I feel guilty for not live-watching The Time I’ve Loved You aka The Time We Were Not In Love (going to refer it “The Time” for the rest of this post) because I was in the middle of my internship when the drama was airing. For those who are following my twitter or read my posts before August probably already know how tiring it was. I was very tired on weekdays so I couldn’t watch any drama at all except on weekends.

But hey my internship ended a month ago and I have all the time in the world to marathon all those dramas I missed. The first drama that I marathoned was The Time and I finished it in just a week! It’s considered fast since I also have classes to attend in the morning-afternoon, piles of presentation to work on, and a lot of house chores.

I swear to God I LOVED the show guys. I enjoyed thoroughly every episode of The Time and sad that I’ve finished it already. Ha Ji Won alone already piqued my interest then they added Lee Jin Wook and also the fact that The Time is Korean version of In Time With You (called as “With You” for the rest of this post), one of my fav dramas. I LOVED the show, really did. But if you keep reading my review you’re going to question whether I loved it or not here I tell you the reason before you’re asking me, I LOVED the show. I really LOVED The Time. Really! More

Mask [review]

MASK [Review]

“I guess we all need someone to lean on. We need someone, not medicine.” Min Woo (Mask)

Where did it go wrong? The directing was great, the drama was so hyped up at the time, the acting definitely felt confident but at some point, it lost its appeal. Mask is another makjang drama from the writer, Choi Ho Chul, the one who also wrote the super makjang yet amazing drama called Secret. I don’t know where it went wrong. The two dramas are definitely makjang but one is beautifully written and one feels like choppily written. Mask was off to a great start, it was strong and fast-paced. The first few episodes were fun to watch then –if I’m not mistaken- on ep 7, the story went downhill. It did pick up on ep 9, but few episodes later the story wasn’t fun anymore.

There is this one formula that I think most of k-dramas do, it starts with a bang, gets stale in the middle and either give another bang at the end or completely ruin it. Mask followed the formula even though I have mixed feeling about the final episode. It was good, but it didn’t succeed in keeping me entirely focus watching it. Trust me, it took me WEEKS to finish the final episode. More

Wu Bai & China Blue –牽掛(On My Mind/Care)

Wu Bai & China Blue –牽掛(On My Mind/Care) iagw

Finally have a chance to write a post again! This post is different compared to my other post. This called Music of the Week! I’m thinking about making this a weekly topic but I don’t think I can keep it up since I only listen to my fav singers’s songs and OSTs. I’m that type of person who doesn’t want to listen to songs sung by singers that I don’t know especially rookies. Until that song becomes a phenomenon I most likely won’t listen to it LOL. But once I love a song, even if it’s not from my fav singers, I will listen to it all day long.

The Girl Who Sees Smell OST

Good things are meant to be shared in order to spread the happiness and yes, what you’re about to see in this post is a good thing. The Girl Who Sees Smell ended its run two weeks ago with a happy ending for everyone. The drama became the platform for Shin Se Kyung to show her capability in portraying a lovely, lively, bubbly girl and it’s also a project that made people realize that this girl can act. More

Surplus Princess [review]

SURPLUS PRINCESS [REVIEW]

“Everyone has a different definition of love. Love for one person is letting go even if it hurts them. Another person would give up love for someone in a better situation.” – Kim Ha Ni (Surplus Princess)

Last Friday i decided to download all dramas i’m currently watching instead of streaming it. When i started this blog (2012-2013) i only downloaded the dramas/movies and streaming sites were the least sites i would visit. I felt that it was such a burdensome to download the video and sub and i would always delete the files right after i watched it so that’s when i started to stream the dramas (it’s lot easier tbh). Why did I decide to download dramas again? The reasons were; First, i missed watching dramas in HD and second, caps quality is damn good! So i decided to download instead of streaming. And once you start downloading one, you can’t help but download more and more.
