Lawless Lawyer [Review]

LAWLESS LAWYER [REVIEW]

Lawless Lawyer is Lee Jun Ki’s first drama I watched after Scholar Who Walks the Night (MBC, 2015) and it did not disappoint me. It reminded me a lot of Untouchable (jTBC, 2017-2018). I happened to finish Untouchable before watching Lawless and it’s not a good idea I think. More

Tempted/The Great Seducer (Short Review)

TEMPTED [SHORT REVIEW]

“All relationships change. Friends, lovers, and even family. If you aren’t sincere, it just changes a bit quicker.” – Kwon Si Hyun (Tempted)

Where did it go wrong? Tempted aka The Great Seducer was off to a great start. Visually appealing cinematography, generic but addicting plot, promising young actors, but what exactly that went wrong? More

Untouchable (Review)

UNTOUCHABLE [REVIEW]

Looking for a heavy thriller, mystery drama but not strong enough for OCN’s dramas? Look no more! JTBC offers your Untouchable. A gory drama but not as gory as OCN’s. Untouchable aired from Nov 2017 through Jan 2018, successfully made me cursed few times due to frustration. Several characters were really evil and what’s worse is, we know those characters might actually exist in real world. More

Wok Of Love (dropped)

Wok Of Love [dropped]

I wanted to just skip this drama because of the writer but somehow I gave it a shot. Don’t ask me why, I just did. So I watched the first episode and I got hooked!

Wok Of Love starring Jang Hyuk, Jung Ryeo Won, and Lee Jun Ho, actually, nothing was wrong with Drama. First episode was hilarious. The writer did a great job at building the atmosphere and developing the characters.  The characters were all different and unique. Each of them had their own charm and I think it was great. More

Why Secretary Kim (First Impression)

Why Secretary Kim (First Impression)

Finally a lovely drama to watch! I’ve been marathoning heavy dramas lately (Whisper, Untouchable) so it’s kind of depressing. I actually just finished Untouchable (JTBC, 2017) and watch Why Secretary Kim (tvN, 2018) right after. In Untouchable, not even a second I was at ease. The plot was complex and demanded me to focus all the time. Meanwhile Why Secretary Kim is such a “feel good” drama. Since it’s still only 2 episodes, everything is still rainbows and unicorns. More

Noona Who Buys Me Food (dropped)

This review was written after the airing of episode 14 in Korea

Noona Who Buys Me Food or also called Something in the Rain garnered a lot of attention prior to its airing. It’s Son Ye Jin (the noona, Yoon Jin Ah)’s small screen comeback since Shark (KBS2, 2013). It’s also the rising star Jung Hae In (played as Seo Jung Hee)’s first leading role. More
