SIX FLYING DRAGONS [DRAMA REVIEW]

“Dream may seem like hope in life. But in fact it is rather like a comfort…. However, comfort is not enough. We have to think about life after that. Our lives. Our happiness.” – Jeong Do Jeon (Six Flying Dragons)
Our 25 weeks journey has come to an end. How do you feel? Do you feel empty? Because I do! The show left such a big shoes for the follow-up drama, Daebak/Jackpot, to fill. Six Flying Dragons is a very well-made drama. It’s a solid watch from start to finish. The casts do an outstanding job, backed up by tight writing. This 50-ep drama is something you don’t want to miss if you’re a sageuk lover. Even if you’re not a sageuk lover, give Six Flying Dragons a try and you’ll get sucked into the story and you’ll find yourself watching the drama to the very end. Satisfaction guaranteed! More

I was supposed to post a review -first half review- of Six Flying Dragons (SFD) weeks ago but I ended up not doing it. My undergraduate thesis was killing me!! Now, I’m back and am writing this interim review because one piece review won’t do for a 50-ep drama.

The last installment of my “year end post” series is here!! This last one is like, save the best for the last. After Best OST and Heart Attack Oppas, the third post is about 6 dramas that I really liked this year. I don’t want to force myself. I don’t want to tell myself hey let’s make it top 10, top 6 is so weird. It’s simply because I only highly enjoyed these 6 dramas this year. Others did satisfy my craving but they didn’t leave such deep impression unlike these six. Please note that this series (year end post series) is very very subjective and 10000% biased. The dramas are listed organized in chronological order. Now, shall we start? ^^ More

EX-GIRLFRIEND CLUB [REVIEW]

“You can’t make everyone happy. You know what you call a man who tries to make everyone happy? Asshole.” – Na Ji Ah (Ex-Girlfriends Club)
A light hearted, cute and fluffy romcom from tvN called Ex-Girlfriend Club wrapped up its run exactly 8 days ago. It’s a recommended drama if you just want to relax and enjoy the trip. The story tells about Bang Myung Soo whose webtoon is famous and gets adapted into a movie. So far everything sounds fine, right? NOPE. More

Update of my holiday-must-watch-dramas list + a little update of everything

My holiday is only two weeks left! Time does fly so fast. It feels it was just yesterday I wrote my “must watch dramas during holiday” post which was more than one month ago but now I only have (LESS than) two weeks left and I don’t know what should I do with my life! I have to enjoy every single second of my holiday because may be next year I won’t be able to have this long holiday anymore. I need to work, need to earn money, be a 9 to 5 employee.
This post is a little update of my holiday-must-watch-dramas list. I’m only posting brief review of every drama I’ve watched so far from that list plus a little update of currently airing dramas that I’m following plus a little update of everything that’s been haunting me since I watched Misaeng.
