UNTOUCHABLE [REVIEW]

Looking for a heavy thriller, mystery drama but not strong enough for OCN’s dramas? Look no more! JTBC offers your Untouchable. A gory drama but not as gory as OCN’s. Untouchable aired from Nov 2017 through Jan 2018, successfully made me cursed few times due to frustration. Several characters were really evil and what’s worse is, we know those characters might actually exist in real world. More

WOMAN WITH A SUITCASE [REVIEW]

“When you want a lot of thing, you can be scary.” – Ham Bok Geo
Since drama was labeled as law drama, I came to it expecting it to be heavy and complex. But I should have known to not put my hopes too high when there was going to be love line in the script. The drama’s focus was divided between the law cases and the romance which ended up with the story not being exploited to its best potential. Maybe Woman With A Suitcase first intention was never to be one heavy drama. They did try to balance the law aspect with the flirting and all but when you looked at it as one big picture, it just didn’t work. More

UNCONTROLLABLY FOND [DRAMA REVIEW]

“Even though It might not be 100 years after all, I will spend the time I have left loving the person I love. So let’s not spend it feeling sad or that it was unfair.” – Shin Joon Young (Uncontrollably Fond)

Why am I a fangirl? Why am I so happy with just knowing that they’re fine and they enjoy their lives? Why am I satisfied with only my idols acknowledge me as one of a bunch of blue lightsticks? The drama The Time I’ve Loved You answers these questions so perfectly. Basically, they can do whatever they want it’s their lives after all. I can love them as much as I want, they give me smiles, they make me good, their songs are my jam and I can release my stress with seeing their photos, listening to their songs, or watching their dramas or variety shows. I can ignore them completely on days I just want to focus on my life and not worrying that someone will bombard me with questions. Fans can come and go as they want and I can do that too and I won’t have any burden unlike when you break up with your bf lol (even though I don’t want to leave my beautiful fandom. The day you find me leaving my current fandom, that’s the day I walk out from Kpop). More

THE TIME I’VE LOVED YOU [Review]

“You should never try to glue back shattered pots again. It’s going to crack in exact places you’ve glued together.” – Na Young (The Time We Were Not In Love)
I feel guilty for not live-watching The Time I’ve Loved You aka The Time We Were Not In Love (going to refer it “The Time” for the rest of this post) because I was in the middle of my internship when the drama was airing. For those who are following my twitter or read my posts before August probably already know how tiring it was. I was very tired on weekdays so I couldn’t watch any drama at all except on weekends.
But hey my internship ended a month ago and I have all the time in the world to marathon all those dramas I missed. The first drama that I marathoned was The Time and I finished it in just a week! It’s considered fast since I also have classes to attend in the morning-afternoon, piles of presentation to work on, and a lot of house chores.
I swear to God I LOVED the show guys. I enjoyed thoroughly every episode of The Time and sad that I’ve finished it already. Ha Ji Won alone already piqued my interest then they added Lee Jin Wook and also the fact that The Time is Korean version of In Time With You (called as “With You” for the rest of this post), one of my fav dramas. I LOVED the show, really did. But if you keep reading my review you’re going to question whether I loved it or not here I tell you the reason before you’re asking me, I LOVED the show. I really LOVED The Time. Really! More

PINOCCHIO [review]

“It’s not good to compare people. Once you start doing that then it’s the end of happiness. And the start of misery.” – Grandpa (Pinocchio)
I didn’t intend to watch Pinocchio at first. I’m not PSH fan and I don’t particullary like LJS too. And as you can see on my “watched + thoughts” page, I am an audience for thriller, politic, action, medical dramas and far far far from a fan of romcom. I do watch romcom but only once in a while to make sure i stay sane after the big amount of heavy dramas i watch lol. But then, why did I decide to watch this? The reason was absolutely ridiculous. Just like Night Watchman case [review here, first impression here], I was bored, had nothing to do, nothing to watch, absolutely I was the free-est human on earth at that time. Then I tried watching episode one and it was good enough to make me think it’d be a good idea to put Pinocchio on my now-watching list. And that’s why I ended up watching the series lol. Seriously, I think having nothing to do is a good idea for me so I can discover and watch dramas that aren’t my style(heavy dramas are so meeeee) More
