The Stranger Living In Our House [First Impression]

THE STRANGER LIVING IN OUR HOUSE/SWEET STRANGER AND ME [FIRST IMPRESSION EP 1-4]

The Stranger Living In Our House aka Sweet Stranger And Me aired its first episode on October, 24th and tonight will mark its 5th episode. I know that the casting news shocked everyone. I was really shocked at first too, trust me. Someone like Soo Ae (playing as Hong Na Ri), who is a A-list actress would act along Kim Young Kwang (as Go Nan Gil) and Lee Soo Hyuk (as Kwon Duk Bong). I was afraid this drama would flop and taint Soo Ae’s acting resume. I was even afraid those ignorant newbies to kdramas would think Soo Ae’s some third-rate actress. Seeing it from many different perspective, I still don’t understand why Soo Ae and her agency took this offer. But, rice has become porridge already. Nothing can be re-done. One thing for sure, them three are slaying! And that’s what matters the most. More

Heart Attack Oppas (2015)

The second year end post is hereeeeeeeeeeeeee. This post is dedicated to all handsome, charming, hot af, heart-throbbing male actors who graced the small screen in 2015!!!! I had a very very very great time while writing this post. Just like the previous year end post which is Best OST of 2015, I had a hard time picking only the best oppas to make it to the final post. There are just so many great actors this year. And what made it even harder was, everyone is so handsome T_T My fangirl soul is awakened after so long. More

D-Day [review]

D-DAY [REVIEW]

“It’s not the vital monitor that pronounces death. It is a doctor who gives up on his patient. As long as you won’t give up. think the patient is still alive. ” Lee Hae Sung (D-Day)

D-Day is definitely a great show to watch especially if you’re looking for something fresh. It’s a very well done drama especially in cinematography aspect, characters development and intriguing conflict. I loved the chemistry among the casts and everyone did a fantastic job. The drama is also one of my fav dramas this year. I hope you guys know it by just looking at the amount of posts related to this disaster-medical drama on the blog. I also have 3 different headers of this drama that you can see on the header page. More

‘D-Day’ First Impression (ep 1 & 2)

A 16-billion won drama surely looks different compare to other dramas. It’s also 80% pre-produced. When ep 1 aired they’ve filmed up to ep 15.  At first I thought the show would be a generic medical show with some action in it until I knew it’s actually a disaster show. It’s really rare for such genre to hit small screen since it costs a lot. I was worried for Kim Young Kwang and Jung So Min because I thought with 16 billion won they surely could cast better actors but so far, they are nailing their roles! The drama is stellar and on different level. I’ve only watch 2 eps so far but I’m loving everything and can’t wait to watch D-Day until its last ep.

In ep 1 we’re introduced to all characters and they’re slowing building up the atmosphere. We get to see the nature of every characters. As for the lead male, Lee Hae Sung, he’s a stubborn doctor who puts patients’ lives as top priority. This gives him bad relationship with others and also penalties and lawsuits are his best friends. And he loves to sleep!

Pinocchio [review]

PINOCCHIO [review]

“It’s not good to compare people. Once you start doing that then it’s the end of happiness. And the start of misery.” – Grandpa (Pinocchio)

I didn’t intend to watch Pinocchio at first. I’m not PSH fan and I don’t particullary like LJS too. And as you can see on my “watched + thoughts” page, I am an audience for thriller, politic, action, medical dramas and far far far from a fan of romcom. I do watch romcom but only once in a while to make sure i stay sane after the big amount of heavy dramas i watch lol. But then, why did I decide to watch this? The reason was absolutely ridiculous. Just like Night Watchman case [review here, first impression here], I was bored, had nothing to do, nothing to watch, absolutely I was the free-est human on earth at that time. Then I tried watching episode one and it was good enough to make me think it’d be a good idea to put Pinocchio on my now-watching list. And that’s why I ended up watching the series lol. Seriously, I think having nothing to do is a good idea for me so I can discover and watch dramas that aren’t my style(heavy dramas are so meeeee) More
