“Punch” Appreciation Post Part 2

So I finished Punch (SBS, 2015) few days ago and still can’t believe at how amazing this drama is. It’s a well-rounded drama with excellent acting from every cast and the plot is very brilliant. Almost no good person in this one which is suffocating for those viewers who want to watch only good characters in dramas. If you’re in this category, don’t watch the drama because you won’t be able to find the beauty of Punch and you’ll end up giving it bad comment.

I’ve decided to not review this drama since I have super limited time now after being a full-time worker LOL this is something that I should be proud of. But I still want to give this series a proper send-off since it entertained me very very well. So, here I am, posting the part 2 of my “Punch” Appreciation Post ihihi. Because one post for this type of drama is never enough! More

Six Flying Dragons [Drama Review]

SIX FLYING DRAGONS [DRAMA REVIEW]

“Dream may seem like hope in life. But in fact it is rather like a comfort…. However, comfort is not enough. We have to think about life after that. Our lives. Our happiness.” – Jeong Do Jeon (Six Flying Dragons)

Our 25 weeks journey has come to an end. How do you feel? Do you feel empty? Because I do! The show left such a big shoes for the follow-up drama, Daebak/Jackpot, to fill. Six Flying Dragons is a very well-made drama. It’s a solid watch from start to finish. The casts do an outstanding job, backed up by tight writing. This 50-ep drama is something you don’t want to miss if you’re a sageuk lover. Even if you’re not a sageuk lover, give Six Flying Dragons a try and you’ll get sucked into the story and you’ll find yourself watching the drama to the very end. Satisfaction guaranteed! More

Punch/펀치 Appreciation Post

After Six Flying Dragons, Signal, and Madame Antoine ended their run, I have nothing to watch. What I mean by nothing is NOTHING. I only have Come Back Mister on my plate and one drama per week is never enough because I have nothing to watch from Saturday to Wednesday. So I went through my downloaded dramas folder on my laptop and picked one drama to watch. The lucky drama was Punch/펀치.  More

The Only Truth Is…

“The only truth in the world is the powerful wrecks the weak. The powerful… plunders the weak. This is the only truth that doesn’t change. Since the beginning of time the weak have always been trampled on by the powerful. A thousand years ago and even a thousand years from now  the weak will be stolen from by the powerful.”

Gil Tae Mi, a character in the blockbuster 2015-2016 SBS sageuk, Six Flying Dragons was one of the kind. I’m pretty sure that you who watch the serial since the beginning know how fancy Gil Tae Mi looked. In his last scene Gil Tae Mi said something that’s relatable to our daily lives. I couldn’t help but agree with his lines. Anyway, Six Flying Dragons is going to bid goodbye next week! Can you believe that?! Our 50-ep journey is coming to an end soon! Time flies too fast.

Six Flying Dragons – Interim Review [Fact and Fiction]

I was supposed to post a review -first half review- of Six Flying Dragons (SFD) weeks ago but I ended up not doing it. My undergraduate thesis was killing me!! Now, I’m back and am writing this interim review because one piece review won’t do for a 50-ep drama.
