Awl/송곳 [review]

AWL/송곳 [REVIEW]

“You might think you can fix everything but there are things that are unfixable.” – Soldier (Awl)

The writing is tight, the cinematography is gorgeous,  the editing is excellent, acting? Don’t even ask! It’s A+++. Awl (송곳), a drama from JTBC that aired in 2015 is a thought-provoking drama that’s very well-written and well-made. I literally loved everything about the show and it made it all the way to my all-time fav dramas list. It is very safe to say that Awl is a drama everyone needs to watch at least once in their life. Favorite Dramas of 2015

The last installment of my “year end post” series is here!! This last one is like, save the best for the last. After Best OST and Heart Attack Oppas, the third post is about 6 dramas that I really liked this year. I don’t want to force myself. I don’t want to tell myself hey let’s make it top 10, top 6 is so weird. It’s simply because I only highly enjoyed these 6 dramas this year. Others did satisfy my craving but they didn’t leave such deep impression unlike these six. Please note that this series (year end post series) is very very subjective and 10000% biased. The dramas are listed organized in chronological order. Now, shall we start? ^^ More

First of all, I have only watched the first episode. This First Impression post is my opinion about the first episode and my opinion may change in the future as the episodes goes on. This post includes my predictions on how the show’s going to be based on my humble opinion as I haven’t read the manhwa. More

AWL to premiere Oct 24th 2015

Awl (송곳) is another webtoon-turn-drama and another work based on E-Land Mart Retail union labor protest.  Cart (2014- korean movie) first adapted this true story and brought it to the big screen. jTBC tries to bring this to the small screen and hoping it’ll hit it big just like Misaeng did. I slightly -really- want Awl to hit it big for some personal reasons but with the simple synopsis we have so far, this is something that I would ignore if I was going just by the synopsis.

The synopsis screams, More
